In the end I went for a fairly standard looking bench but it was in an interesting place - or at least somewhere that surprised me that there was a bench there. So I am sure a wall with 'something interesting on it' would also count!

Although the pedestrian gates on level crossings are usually white I think which might help someone?

And our fire hydrants are red and don't have "H" on them. Will that do? We're not big on gates either so it will be probably be something industrial. I shall have a think as I plod about.
