Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

I struggled with the interesting bench in January (which made me think of an interesting wall for this month!) but it's open to interpretation. In the end I went for a fairly standard looking bench but it was in an interesting place - or at least somewhere that surprised me that there was a bench there. So I am sure a wall with 'something interesting on it' would also count!

I think that would definitely count as an interesting wall um, regardless of whether it's been updated or not!

I have a wall with crinkles in mind, but I think I'll have a few days scouting around, the White Gate appears problematical now.

I thought when I drew up the list that the white gate would be easy but realised in my own village it isn't at all - there's only one that I'm aware of. Although the pedestrian gates on level crossings are usually white I think which might help someone?

Seeing as I found a few things with a bit of a story, that's my plan this time, I want a really impressive white gate, or a really pretty one with a view.....

I have an interesting wall in mind but it is off my usual run or walk routes. Will have to make a plan for a short trip in the car and a new run route. I think I should be able to get some of the others at the same time.

Southern bias! I demand a recount! Ain't no chance of getting a tree in blossom up here in March! And our fire hydrants are red and don't have "H" on them. Will that do? We're not big on gates either so it will be probably be something industrial. I shall have a think as I plod about.
