Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

I love the reflection photos - there's one stunners! I knew there was a fire hydrant somewhere fairly close to home, I just couldn't quite place where. It's right across the road from our house, opposite our drive!
I'm looking forward to a calm day to get a reflection in the river and I thinking hard where there might be literary reface. That might have to be somewhere other than our village. We have a tree in our front garden that has had blossom on it near enough all year so far (a winter flowering cherry I think) but the wind has put paid to that now. I know where I'm going for the enclosed path and I'm looking out for a traffic cone.
Thanks for the list BBL :) I thought there might have been something dog related ;)

GM - I did have a dog 'poo bin' on my long list initially but it didn't make the final cut!

I've seen benchmarks around and had no idea what they were, trouble was I couldn't remember where exactly. No doubt I'll start seeing them all over the place now!

Another excellent list. I took some pictures of Haweswater today, and when I saw the new list hoped there would be a reflection in one, but the water was much too choppy. I’ve only posted one from February so far (found at least something for them all*, but got distracted trying to decide which to pick and March snuck up on me. Is it too late?

* My benchmark might not be a benchmark, although it was where the list said it would be...

Not too late to post the Feb list beebop - I think a few January lists didn't get blogged about until February as I recall.

Thanks for the new list. An interesting wall and a name from literature are currently causing me to scratch my head - but at least I know what they are which is more than can be said about benchmarks! Looking forward to the final reveal later...
