Like the idea of rapid chess, but got enough on for now with the league and the main tournament possibly starting soon. 3-4 daily games at once is about as much as I can handle with work etc.

I want people to have some time to think even in a rapid tournament. No one is learning if we're just throwing pieces at each other and making blunders. 10 might be too short, 30 too long so maybe 20 mins or 15 with 10 sec increments.
My second runners game has been drawn by agreement (offered by me). After my post yesterday, I realised he could do exactly what I planned so it wasn't going anywhere. Analysis shows it was even for more than half the match and neither of us made a mistake or inaccuracy so draw is fair.

Jda - Re our second tournament match, I missed that taking your bishop with my knight would have forced you to continue your king but be a piece down, or take back thus allowing me to keep your king within the h to f file.
