One move away from losing my white game in 'the match' so it'll be 1-1. I thought I'd been gifted a rook and was heading for an easy win until I realised he was just setting himself up for a mating attack. Ah well! Nice instruction point that material advantage isn't everything!

Unless I do something really stupid as white in my match, I'm going to go one up. My black game is in the balance, though tilted towards my opponent.
I'm intending to focus on analysis and attempting to improve my game over the next few days, so not taking new games currently.

Next round won't happen till everyone has finished. Looks like chess.com sorted the stuck thing overnight. It's an automatic thing it seems unless it gets stuck.

Gooffee - If you ask yourself before any move:
1. Have I got any checks available?
2. Can I take anything?
The check question leads to the mate.
Those are always good questions to ask just in case.
