Hi FRU
Good mental health is as important as anything else we can do, so if the wedding helped you make family connections and brought joy and happiness then you absolutely have no reason to feel either guilty or as if you did anything wrong
I ran this morning when I didn't really feel like running, and then I spent 5/6 of my lunch hour walking around outside in the fresh air. For the past few days I have successfully avoided all of the 'treats' on the table beside me at work (funny how these are always cakes/biscuits/sweets), although I did have some chocolate on Saturday evening.
I can make good food choices when I get home this evening, and will do some ironing to keep me away from the kitchen (and thus temptation) once I've had dinner.

I do find the work table hard to resist - especially on days if I am tired and yes I think the facts it's always sweets, biscuits etc is not that good
I'm trying to work out how to change that behaviour for the whole office - we do have fruit normally but even that is lots of sugar and it'd be better if the treat was something like bottled water or something non sugar focused
Hmm... that's something to think about!
We are also going to set up a walking challenge for lunchtimes - so it's walk the total distance of Lands end to John OGroats by end November - that should get us all out into the fresh air

Back at the gym this morning - finishing off with a 40min swim was ace
Oats for breakfast and water on the go
Have a day of finding only smiles - negative not allowed (be very easy to let it slip in today as I'm still quite tired)

I proved that yes, I can do a 45 min spinning class followed by a 45 mins kettlebell class after work.
Whether I do it again is debatable; I think I prefer to do kettlebells on my own.

I can still run to work and some days it can be a decent run, too.
We are doing well :-). This thread helps, even if I don’t post a lot. It helps me to be more positive when I’m feeling negative.

Cans
It’s worth a nod tonight as this time last year me and a special lady we’re thinking “can we”
Well, we did
And a year later on the eve of that I know we “can” do whatever we set our minds to
Small steps, forwards
Ups n downs
Concentrate on any ups
The downs will happen but can be moved through
Some tough stuff happening for this group, life is sometimes not easy

Lol... I love being a big sister!!
I'm struggling not seeing howarth already, yorskshireman is like part of us. It's likely to be very muddy though today in parts you think? I had a flashback to the bit where it started to rain just now... and we then turn up hivis hill & emerge to the last drag up looking like two 'lil Ferrell runners escaped from the wild. Hahaha!
Next year...
Good luck to All of today's racers
Tasks today: - take all the rubbish from the shed to the tip - finalise the list of stuff to turn the shed into half storage, half workshop space for me that can then also be our mini bar (exciting!) - drink piles of water - go spinning later
