That sounds reasonable. I just had to stump up £700 for the landrover, but it needed an expensive fuel pressure regulator plus a bunch of 100K-miles service works were added on. Cheaper than buying a new one....

I guess there's a fair bit of plywood in coach-built motorhomes and in home conversions. I would have thought that damp and wet rot would be more likely problems than dry rot - what's the issue, Louise?

[Gobi - my daughter just paid 200 pounds for a new indicator stalk on her ten-year old Peugeot 107. Not sure what the issue was, but I think there was probably corrosion on the contacts and they went from intermittent working to not working. Not a cheap undertaking, it seems.]
