Thank you HP ![]() we can't decide where to aim for next spring, we're heading north of the border but not sure how far north this time. A proper explore is pencilled in for as soon as Husband retires (maybe 2026?), though, and then we can spend a couple of months ![]() |

The decision has been made. It's going to be an Autotrail Expedition 66 - just some paperwork to sort and I'll pick it up on 1st March...I'm counting down the days already ![]() |

Whilst still waiting for the van to be repaired I am being optimistic that 1) it will be fixable 2) we will still be able to afford our trips next year. Have booked our first stop at Chanonry Point and am looking for a place to stop between there and John O'Groats for a couple of nights. Once I get pass there it seems to be coming together easier. Is there enough to do to warrant two nights? Or do we just need the one? Any good suggestions for places to stop please? Want to book as bank holiday Thanks |

Back from our trip a day early... I managed to fall over and really hurt my shoulder. No way was I going to be able to sleep in the van tonight 😔 Before that though... Nice pitch at CCC site in Hawes. I'm sure that at 44 I am the youngest person on site. Also, I feel I am still very much a camper and give that away every time I move! Our set up Idiot dog has been very much on edge the whole time. We had to physically shut her in the van before she would relax, then like an over stimulated toddler she was sparked out! This morning she managed to break the clip on her tether, so went on a site wide rampage at 7am. Once again, confined to barracks having to watch the bunnies through the 'kitchen' window. It's almost a relief to be home. |
