Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

The Expedition 68 is one I’ve looked at, although I still prefer the Adria Twin 640 SGX. But then we need garage space.

Thinking about somewhere to go between Christmas and the new year. Considering a campsite I've been to a couple of times before in Callander, near Stirling.

Close enough to town to walk into pub/restaurant/shops, no entertainment planned on site and plenty walks to do during our stay.

Anyone else going away?

Oh cool... do you know if there will likely be anything on for Hogmanay in the town? Street party or similar? Probably wouldn't go anyway, but nice to know if there is something on or not. lol

Ben Gullipen, Callander Crags, Bracklinn Falls, Ben Ledi weather & fitness permitting are good walks. Cycle path to Loch Lubnaig too.

Hop on the bus to Doune and see the Castle.

Thanks!

Apart from that, we're just planning walks into town shops/pubs and probably a walk or two up to Callander crags.
