When do you get Gromit? Is it converted or will you do?

Gromit
Hopefully end of next week and no it’s not converted it’s got the 7 seats which are removable as and when we want to sleep in it which having hired a T5 with all the gadgets in we decided we don’t need for single night adventures …. And makes it a much more affordable everyday car rather than a full sized van … it’s surprisingly roomy 😍

That's brill Gromit 🙂
Years ago we had a Chrysler Voyager - plenty big enough to sleep in, had privacy glass, so changed in it for races many times 🙂 Very modular - seats folded for tables etc - great for picnics / hiding from the rain. Had a DVD player in it for the children.. epic, I could go on and on...
Sometimes less is more; lots of fun to be had - and you wont get stuck on narrow country roads 🙂🤣👍

Car parks and height restrictions are definately hazards I encounter with the motorhome! 🤔🤣

I had one or two close calls just with the topbox on the car, nearly got stuck in a multistory as it just tounched the swinging sign on the way in, but was too high for the light fittings at the end of the ramps

I’ve spotted three suitable vans available online this week, one sold in 24 hours. Fingers crossed that the one that looks best will stick around for a few days.Don’t have the confidence to reserve online, which seems to be what I’m going to need to do though.

Must be very frustrating Rosehip. I really thought buying vans would have calmed down buy now but seems that it is still hard due to lack of parts etc for new ones, so therefore people not trading in etc.
People on the site we are on at the moment have been waiting for a new caravan for about 9 months and it just keeps getting put back

Sadly, Barbara Bongo is going up for sale. I have just dropped off a caravan in the South of France, so we'll not be using her as much. Still cant face putting her on eBay, we'll be off the the Lake District next week as a final goodbye.
