Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch
or for an ad-free Fetcheveryone experience!

I was on some FB group the other day and some French blokey had come up with a very neat duct system to feed warm air from his van's heater right up into the poptop, I thought it quite clever. He had to do some pretty invasive work in the interior trim mind you.

When you say nothing works RunningRonnie when the van is not on hook up do you mean the 12v things or the 240v items connected to plug sockets?

12 volt items should work if leisure battery connected and charged but 240 volt plug sockets for example will not run off a leisure battery.

yeah, trying the 12 volt sockets around the van and looking for lights on the panel shown in the photo. I'm trying a longer charge today to see if that helps.

Mind sound silly but it does have a leisure battery installed? If leisure battery is missing or not connected the 12v system would still work when hooked up to a charger possibly.

Yeah, got that Synge, thanks.

SjohnA, we did think of that. Pretty sure we found the leisure battery, but it's pretty out of reach/view.

My van is here at the office today

Nice 80 mile trip to blow the cobwebs out and shake down after the repair work.

Still need to remove the panel inside so I can install a wedge as currently you cant use the side door due to my Banded steels being too wide :¬)

Run along the coast for me today in the Motorhome . Up early and there by 7:30. Run and bike ride completed unfortunately it’s a bit to choppy for a swim so going to have some lunch then off for a walk over the cliffs - perfect day 😀
