Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

I was standing at my marshall post at the local Tri at the weekend and wondered if anyone else fancied a Fetch bobble hat? I do like a bobble hat... and may be just jn time for Christmas.

I messaged Fetch who set up this feature request to see if there's enough demand :-)

Hi, I've voted Yes for the feature, but also put in a comment asking if Fetchie Knitters could make them, possibly raising funds for the site or for a charity, rather than buying from Bobble Hats UK? :-) G

I love the bobble hats and keep looking when at races but have not bought one on the grounds that I do knit and could make one but haven't!

As a sporadic knitter I wouldn't manage many bobble hats, could maybe make a couple, but slowly.......

Before I would agree to knit a bobble hat I would want to know what the design would be like.
I could whip up something in chunky weight wool in a plain colour or stripes in an afternoon/evening but if you wanted the letters from FETCHEVERYONE or a design of pixilated runners it would take much longer. Bear in mind that a ball of Acrylic chunky would cost just under £3 but a ball of Malbrigio Merino is £9.
Knitters would probably do it for the love but if it took (minimum 2 hours for a very very quick knitter) at minimum wage it would add another £20 or more to the price

I only love a small number of Fetchies enough to knit a customised item for them, even for money. I'll yarn bomb anyone with things I've knitted for pleasure.
