Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Watched a crow land near some trees when dog walking at the weekend. It had a large slice of ham. It then cached small bits in a rough holes in the ground and covered them with leaves. I've never seen them stashing food before.

Lot's of goosander and a glimpse of a lone male goldeneye as well.

Got a close-up view of an otter today when I took the dog out along the Nith. I must have been within tweny feet of it. It did see me, gave me a look and didn't seem at all fazed by my presence.

First I've seen on the river for about five years. Made my day :)

Got a close up view of the rat today. When I was about 6 inches from it trying to get the bloody thing off the feeder!

LTTs in the tree at the bottom of the garden, several blackbirds, and I think the biggest dove I've ever seen.
