Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Yes flanker, but I thought you lived on the rough side of town - like me. :)

Yeah, but that's Cambridge rough. Still pricing than most posh areas. And compared to where I grew up not even mildly rough.

Lovely big buzzard sitting wetly in a tree this morning. Flew off as I drove past.

Checked out our cross country course yesterday, about 200 metres of calf deep water to go through at the moment, which seems to be home to the pair of snipe that i flushed out.

Had a lovely run along the beach in my home town this morning. Brent geese and loads of waders around. Quite lovely. Of only the legs had worked!

Little egret at Hatfield Forest parkrun this morning :-)

I know they've been here for a good few years now and are well established, but my birding days began when they were unknown in Britain so I still think of them as kind of exotic!

Great spot

We watched a David Attenborough film this morning and there was some great footage attracting fish by shuffling his big yellow feet around. Fascinating! nerd
