Lots of grenn cockatoos here, plus a brief flash of a kingfisher on our morning run. (Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines, Paris)

One Song Thrush and about a hundred* blackbirds stripping the berries from my Rowans this morning. They won't leave any for the Redwing / Fieldfare.
*Probably less than a dozen, really.

Swallows are still gathering here - scoffing lots of insects over the distillery pond. Skimming the surface while hunting down insects, making splashes. A few also at intervals on telegraph wires; making me wish I could read music.
A small flock of pied wagtails in the newly-mown distillery grounds also spotted.

We took a drive over 'our' moor last night. Lots of swallows on phone lines on the way there. There was also a group of at least 8 jays, I've never seen that before, is it common?
