Heard lots of chiff chaffing today. Saw goldfinch, chaffinch and wren close up and a buzzard in the distance. The tide was in on the estuary, so not as many waders. Did see oyster catchers and redshank though.

I was pleased to see a Jay, a Red Kite, and a Buzzard during journeys to and from parkrun this morning. I regularly see Buzzards, but the Jay and the Kite were a bit more out of the ordinary for me.

Really pleased j2r. I've managed to get a few other nice images whilst I've been playing this week.

Invisible small bird chirping behind my fence. I used birdnet to identify it and it was almost certainly a peregrine falcon. Dont think so!

Peregrines are a rare sight at the bird table 🤔 Buzzard and kestrel in the same sky in Co. Durham today, also a lapwing.
In unfeathered news, frogspawn and toads in a lake yesterday 🐸
