Field fares descended on my rowan, the last with berries left. Berries gone this sunny morning, as are the birds. I wanted a photo but it was a tad grim...

Thanks um and DT. I am a bit restricted on what options I could use to research, so I took advantage of Fetch experience and kindness!
I wasn’t expecting much wildlife on this trip.

I’d go with snow bunting too. Only reason I’m fairly confident is there have been loads of photos of them on my local birding FB page recently.

I must admit to using Bing Image Search for initial guidance. It lets you copy and paste an image, as opposed to Googl Image where you need a file or web location. And google normally comes back with meadow, or sea or some such unhelpful response.

Lovely to see snow bunting. Not seen any this year, almost impossible to spot against the rocks by us, but if you do see them you get remarkably close just by keeping still.

Yes, snow bunting, Scribbler.
Currently in south Suffolk and saw a raven yesterday, first one I can recall in lowland East Anglia. I only used to see these in rocky hills.
