Me neither. Or rather, I've seen 'possibles', or maybe even 'probables', on a couple of occasions, but never a definite. Very envious, Flanker!

www.gowerbirds.co.uk Great sighting Flanker, not a common sighting so worth putting it on birdtrack so that Gower Bird Report can have it. Worth putting the sighting on their web site too. I've only ever seen Goshawk once.

Fantastic, I love the Gower and looks like the bird sightings are brilliant. Definitely never seen a goshawk

steve, it seems they are well-known around the area. One of the holiday lets even advertises as having them as back garden birds!

So, 'my' sparrowhawk is back. He is so distinctive in his markings, so definitely the same one. In the second picture you can see he is just about to take off and he charged the feeders straight after.

I've just been down to the park to see the kingfishers. Pictures of them have been popping up on the local facebook groups recently (apparently there are 4 including 3 young) and the group of people with binoculars and long lenses made it easier to find them

Not a bird, but we’ve just had our first ever (that we’ve spotted) back garden squirrel!
The dogs did not see it…. 🤪

A buzzard flew over the house this morning relatively low down. A nice front room window tick but not as good as the quartering barn owl I had last winter (90% certain - it couldn’t have been a gull)
