Amazing! I've seen a few otter pictures popping up recently. Must be very active at the moment.

Brilliant Surelynot.

Good morning in my 2km patch today. Added 4 new species to take total to 52. First up was a lone Redshank, then a stop at a feeding station produced a pair of Tree Sparrows and a small flock of Siskins in the trees overhead (there were also at least 3 Willow Tits, Nuthatch, Robins, Chaffinch, Blue, Coal and Great Tits present) before I spied a flock of Lapwing coveniently on the right end of an island that is right on the edge of the 2km.

DT there is a reasonable number across at the Res. It's a relative stronghold for them, which given their overall status is great to see. They are a pretty much guranteed spot on the feeders by the Wildlife Centre as there is sizeable population centered there but that's outside my 2km . Where I saw them this morning is a good spot but it seems to be only one or two pairs and as a consequence it's more hit and miss.

We don’t have many house sparrow here but I always check them if I see them on feeders say or in hedges, when out and about
