I had a flyover from several curlews today, they are fairly exotic in flight

Thought it was a goldcrest when I first spotted it, until I looked at my camera. Any suggestions? |

Ring Ouzel on the trails this morning. Similar to a mini magpie at first glance but the smaller, almost circular white patch gave it away.

Looks like a Siskin to me Roberto, definitely not a Goldcrest.

Isn't it very late for a Ring Ouzel to be around? I thought they departed around September?

I had the same thought Flanker but when I looked it up my book said November. So late but not anywhere as late as I first thought and given the relatively mild weather so far this autumn/winter perhaps not surprising to get some late stayers. We've certainly had a number of species spotted here close to or beyond the previous latest sighting date.
