Thanks both, wondered if that was the case , but always good to get a better understanding of what is going on. I love the mass movement of birds, always fascinating. On our river if we do a late walk the cormorants always seem to be heading off inland, whereas depending on the season geese seem to come in for the evening

Disturbed a buzzard today - in woods (NF) and it was behind a fallen tree. Flew up to another tree about 50ft away, then off as I tried to get a line of sight. No photos of the buzzard, lots of pics of blurry trees though. |
