Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Fantastic, great to see them spreading out more each year. Red Kites is probably going to be one of my non-spots this year. They havent quite spread as far as the coast up here, so I'll have to wait until I can get back out on the moors to spot them

Dad says he saw a Red Kite over the Memorial Park too - in Coventry.

They’re becoming more common up the M40 towards Stratford and Cov - maybe moving in closer 👍👍

We had one over the house not too long ago.

Eynsham Red
We regularly see them overhead Eynsham. I love the way they seem to play with the wind.

I love "my" red kites, I'm so lucky I can watch them from my sofa - or the buzzards, they seem to take turns :)

Just had 9 starlings sat on the fence, wondering why I hadn't got around to refilling the feeders this evening. They don't half make a mess with the seeds though, I shall have all sorts of things growing everywhere :(

Male blackbird with striking white streaks on his head. Very Phantom of the Opera.

I'm a beginner. I take photos when running and identify after. I use Merlin bird ID app from Cornell. Anyone recommend this or should I switch to the BTO's Birdtrack? BTW I live half the time in Netherlands and half in SE Norway.

If the Merlin (great name for an App) works stick with it. What do you see regularly in your twin homes?
