I thought I’d easily find a singing skylark either last weekend or weekend before but no chance
Following up my East Lanc M65 woodcock fly-by yesterday there’s a copse on our new dog-walk / patch that has deer, and I reckon roding woodcock will be on for late spring there

Loads of fieldfare and redwing around here, had to work most of the day, but made better by being followed by flocks of them.

Whooper count continues to rise, up to 59 this morning and they've conveniently moved within 600m of the house.
Lots of whistling Widgeon echoing through the fog this morning. Sounded quite eeire!

Hello all. Saw my first Fieldfare yesterday. Only just realised what it was today when I saw it again.
