The pictures certainly look good, and Neil Gaiman was directly involved, so I'm quite optimistic.

Enjoyed Amazon's attempt at Gaiman's American Gods, had a different vibe to the book for me but still good.

Some cause for optimism, though I feel it's hard to capture Pratchett's style, Gaiman's involvement another reason for hope

Sorry, jumping in late here, but I thought 'they' did a really good job with Going Postal.

I have a shameful confession: I have neither read nor watched American Gods.

I keep meaning to, I just haven't gotten around to it yet.

Shameful confession here too - I have Going Postal recorded, haven't watched it yet :-O

I struggled with Colour of Magic, so put off watching Going Postal.

The snag with discworld is having read all the books, many many lots, I have my very own and idiosyncratic view of it.

Funnily enough I enjoyed the 2 stage productions of Pratchett I've seen, one a national tour, the other a small local theatre production, both excellent.

Perhaps my issue is with the screen where so much is filled in for you, I don't like it if it's not my personal 'right'

Going Postal was great, and the Hogfather as well.

I was a little disappointed with The Colour of Magic, however.
Have we all seen the trailer for Troll Bridge? was that in here?
I don't think it was.

We saw Nation at the theatre, which was good, especially as I hadn't read the book.
