Yep, Kendal looks as good a place as any if we ever make the move Two more Wainrights for me please @Northern Exile short wander up to Arthur's and Bonscale Pikes last weekend had planned Loadpot and Wether Hills too, but Husband decided he'd had enough bog slopping. Think the somewhat steep alternative descent into Howtown was punishment enough for that |

Amazing views from there @Rosehip, one of those tops where the scene is better than the fell itself. If that makes any sense at all?! Neighbouring Hallin Fell. Tiny but beautiful I’d say. |

Having a few days of targeting Wainwright's thus week, which is a first - previous ones have just happened. A lovely round from Glenridding on Monday, taking in Hart Side and Hellvellyn plus everything in between (revisits on the main NS ridge). Yesterday's wobbly weather pushed us to the Whinkatter quintet, and today's 'oribble rain meant for just Castle Crag. @Northern Exile , could you tally me up to 78, please? Thanks. Bus to Buttermere tomorrow morning, and then heading eastwards over the final BG fells if all goes well. |

Bumped into a couple of runners in Keswick just before 5pm this evening, as they set off on a Bob Graham round. They're going pretty well right now - best of luck to them: live.kongtracking.com
