We’re planning on Lank Rigg as our last … it’s changed as we’ve gone along but now seems apt as MrsG believes this was the last one that Wainwright did for the 214 set …. 🤷♀️

I couldn't resist. A preliminary count from a list gives me 86 definite Wainwrights. I think there will be a few more when I get the map out and go over the rounds I've done.

Started keeping tabs with running (puffing and panting mostly!) as I didn’t count them in my youth. First was Walla Crag on 15/07/18 and currently on 49.

Don't post here all that often but follow the thread. We have a wallchart of Wainwrights like a huge scratchcard/poster where you scratch off the name of each one as you do it! I may have to dig it out and have a look - it won't have been 'scratched' for a good couple of years but hope to get a couple more this summer.

I just finished my wainwright round this month. Started counting 3 years ago.. and really enjoyed the project. I’d always been a bit sniffy about ticking off lists, but likes the way the target took you into different parts of Cumbria.
