Jack’s surf bar is very seaside town in th 70s pub food and wasn’t the cleanest establishment I’ve ever been in

Above a couple of hundred metres I was shocked at how quiet the Fells were on Sunday. Not complaining.

Thanks V'rap - if you would like a run in company and have time in the week my knees will have no choice but to oblige.

I have the two OS Explorer maps that cover the area but it's always nice to get run and walk route recommendations.

We are planning a drive into Keswick so that I can indulge myself in Booth's - I'm assuming they have a reasonable gf range? Anywhere in Keswick people would recommend for gf coffee and cake/lunch or dinner?

MrsS has had nice gf meals at Fellpack, they’ve just moved to a bigger place down the hill from George Fishers.

Kingfisher do gf fish and chips. It’s rice flour coating so lactose free too

I noticed GF options in The Wild Strawberry in Keswick today, and it's rather nice. Booths is always worth a visit and is good for "unintentionally gluten-free" nice things like unusual fresh vegetables and local meat.

Thanks Snoot.

I'll look up The Wild Stawberry V'rap, not one I've seen in my searches. I don't eat meat but am partial to some nice fish - I will need gf bread/rolls and maybe a pizza for an easy dinner, that sort of thing.

Sourcing nice GF baked goods around here shouldn't be a problem :)

I know this advice was for LMH, but it has rather convinced me! My shoulder is getting happier, so I am going to plan a little camping trip I think :) with the e-bike if I can get it into the car... Currently impossible and there is no way my knees would cope with my normal bike...
