Snoot - we have been really fortunate and the weather has been perfect. (We booked this cottage in December and assumed we would lose it when lockdown 3 was announced. The 12th April changes enabled us to visit after all.)

Mr SD is up in the Lakes atm (bubble visit to help his mum, though I'm not convinced 😂). He was on Middle Fell and Seatallan yesterday and said he couldn't get over how dry it was. Think he's planning on ticking off a few other summits usually known for their 'bogginess'! (Also said he only saw 10 people all day). Meanwhile back in Tamworth ...

Interesting SD. The ground between Haycock, Seatallan and Middle Fell is usually pretty wet - I can think of someone who might appreciate that this coming weekend

I’m going to be up overnight tomorrow in the MoHo. I’m restricting myself to Coniston area as I don’t fancy finding parking, and am trying to work out a route up to Swirl How that doesn’t involve Old Man... or I might end up riding both days.
