hmm, well maybe without the tea stop in Honister - depends on what my legs think about DH from the tarn - but that would mean finding the right way down off Robinson...

Wife and I (and the dog) did something similar to this a couple of years ago: walklakes.co.uk We stayed in the Scope Beck valley to avoid the rock 'steps' on the route up Robinson, but stayed down too long so lost a fair bit of time trying to find a way back up to the ridge |

I think I should avoid planning and just get up in the morning and do - that seems to be how I manage best. - more planning = more scared that I won't be able to do it.

Done that without dropping to Honister or the short detour to Hindscarth, prefer High Snab Bank to the steep drop to the beck (or climb if going the other way round). It's a nice morning out. fetcheveryone.com/t-16955836 |
