Curious post FR. Is that an indirect way of saying you don't approve of people going back to the Lakes already?

I have no approval or disapproval rights NE. What people do is of their own conscience.
I will stay in the Fens until lockdown is over.

I wish I was in the Fens, let alone the Lakes.

Gooner, at times like this I appreciate everything.

Indeed, if nothing else this has made me appreciate what I have around me... whilst also making me start a house hunt in greener pastures.

I know I should appreciate my rural almost-fens views, Fenners
- but I'm getting bored now
It's lovely hearing the skylarks and watching the buzzards - but it's not the lake district or the Norfolk coat or Devon clifts and beaches - it does get monotonous
Sorry Gooner, but to be honest even a bit of North London Streetlife would make a bit of a change!

Come to Walsall, I assure you it would give you a whole new sense of appreciation!

I'll quite happily say it - I don't approve of outsiders going to the Lakes at the moment (as much as I'm desperate to) until the local communities say they want us back.

I’m hoping we’ll be welcome when the rescheduled Lakeland Trails events happen - if they do happen. Not sure what I’d do if that were not the case. I’m in almost the only flat part of Yorkshire and I miss hills.
