Schoolboy error today. I'm having a Garmin for month so I went out with my old stopwatch. After 4 and a bit kms the road was impassable due to rain so I had to turn back and therefore had no idea when i reached 5km, so I estimated a time based on the first 4.
I've sacked the course director

I ran my fake parkrun this morning. Oh how I wish I’d run 🏃🏼♂️ it yesterday when the weather was better. The wind & rain 🌧 were awful today. At one point, when I turned South & headed for the seafront, the wind was throwing the rain horizontally into me & I had trouble seeing where I was going.
28.08 for my fake parkrun. Some people would call the weather conditions exhilarating, I know what I’d call them, but there to rude to put into print.

Did a version of the course today, due to ridiculous amounts of flooding ending up as a there and back plus a bit of a loop. 25:53 which I am very happy with considering how little I have been out this week.
Contemplating a Xmas day fakey as well as Boxing Day
