Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

32:36 today, just a regular 5k route from home. Happy coincidence that day 5 of Run The Sum fell on a Saturday :-)

No fakeparkrun for me today. In an effort to encourage my dodgy left knee to sort itself, I am resorting to ever more weird and wacky ways to treat it.

I am now trying Not Running, which is apparently quite a popular way to address running injuries.

I remain unconvinced, but am willing to give even this strange method a go.

Jabberknitmas, Perhaps I could borrow your right knee whilst you practice Not Running and I would have a full complement of fit knees.

31:16 this week. A 5 second range over the last three fakeys. Dangerously close to a groundhog Day.

Help yourself, TomahawkMike (though I can't honestly say it's much better then the left one).

It's my parkrun anniversary! (An email informs me). Twelve years since the first (Glasgow event #1). And I've run 41 in the last twelve months, which is a surprising stat, as I've only logged about ten notparkruns.

36:53 for me today, ok on quite tired legs, after the furthest outing logged as a run in 32 months yesterday. Also the RD had to make an emergency course alteration whilst the event was actually in progress.

Following the return of real live parkruns, this thread has naturally lost interest; I'm glad it's been here to help folks during the dark days of lockdown.

I've listed them up until 30 October '21, if you would like me to list more then please fmail me and I'll get right onto it.
