That's 5, and I'm done. Five was the target.

Left hip was starting to hurt, so it was over half walking (with vanity jog past the trimparcours people, who were impressed when I said I was on my fifth lap 😂, and the home stretch), but I hit my target after goodness knows how many weeks since I last went for a run, so I'm happy.

That's lap 6 done. Knees definitely starting to gripe, so once lap 7 is done I'll think about taking some drugs. (Paracetamol!)

Good work Rae, Itg, 57, and everyone on the southern end of the planet. Lap 2 done with bigger dog who stopped 3 times! Rain eased off while we were out.

Nice to see the beach getting busy - at 6am it was just me and 2 women swimmers, a couple of hours ago the Surf Rescue youngsters turned up and now there's a group of artists who've set up their easels.
I've taken a photo from the same spot on every run, so it'll be nice to put together when I've finished.

My 3rd 2 mile lap done in slightly lighter, warmer rain. I have also never run further than a marathon but I have considerably further to go before I hit uncharted territory 😁

Lap 4 done. Is it me or is this harder than just going and doing four miles in one go?

I thought it'd be good to have a thread for discussing F'Laps 2024 (Date 6th July 2024). Follow this thread if interested.

The Rules
1) You must run or walk your chosen distance (a choice of 4.167 miles, 5k, 2 miles or 1 mile) within each hour e.g. 9-9.59am, 10-10.59am, 11-11.59am.
2) Each participant must visit Fetch and hit the "Completed it mate!" link before the hour ends: fetcheveryone.com/flaps-checkin.php
3) If you're finding it too much, you can drop down to a shorter distance, or tap out.
4) The winner is the last person standing in each distance category.
5) You can participate on your own, or get together with other Fetchies.
