Indeed Triplet - and the 'In' ers are doing exactly the same re the apocalyptic horrors which will be unleashed when 'going it alone'. It's a total replay, which will have the same outcome.

Most interesting, and only unknown bit is what happens to the Tories afterwards.

Zorba, it's interesting that many of the arguments the SNP made for leaving the UK are directly opposite of those made for staying in the EU, i.e. being part of a larger body (the UK) is bad, but now being part of a larger body (the EU) is good.

If you live in England you will be helping the SNP if you vote to leave.

I think *why* is going to be the first casualty in this debate isn't it? It's all going to boil down to *who* :(:(

Worst referendum ever...

Choice between Cameron/Osbourne or Farage/Gove/Galloway looking smug.

I hope you are wrong. 'Who' should be irrelevant, but I fear you may be right as for many the issues are far too complex to get heads around objectively to make a balanced decision.

I said it during the Scottish referendum and I'll say it again. It's up to the politicians to explain properly what the issues and likely outcomes are, no matter how complex, then let the electorate decide.

If the Scottish referendum tells us anything then it is that scaremongering will likely see a late swing in favour of the status quo.

Can we still go to Europe on holiday if the UK isn't part of the EU? I jest (I think).
