Here’s a quote from the race website:
“I’m looking forward to test myself in the half marathon, for the first time, in Copenhagen. Normally this is a distance that would suit my training very well, but after a long season on the track working towards the 1500m, it’s exciting to see if I even can reach the finish line,” says Jakob Ingebrigtsen”

My mate is running Sydney. Apparently it’s very windy.

Sub 60 would be expected, I doubt Ingebrigtsen is turning up with that as something he's considered tough but well shall.

I'm interested in what Kiplimo will do at the front of the race assuming he's in form (Canova has suggested there's doubts about his form but he's not his coach).

We are watching Sydney an hour or so behind life. Looks a lovely route but not much support. The commentary is terrible. Nice shout out for our (Aberdeen) local athlete Joanna in the wheelchair race though.

Just turned on the HM in time to see that Ingebrigtsen decided to go with the best who were running 58 mins but has blown up at 10km. I didn't think he'd attempt that especially after I heard he's never run more than 20km.

He's back running but it will likely be a slow time now if he finishes.

Kiplimo off the back of the two leaders but the elastic hasn't snapped yet.

Sawe wins in 58:04, just outside course record. Kiplimo second, Lasoi third.
