DAS probably hasn’t got the ceiling of some sprinters but a much higher floor and probably used to racing in chilly weather.

I reckon SML could get close to the dodgy 400m WR if she targeted the event for a season - She ran an easy looking 49.1 in leggings without much of a field. Don’t know if she will do that though.

He's got such a cool head.

Gutted for MHS though. What a season only to end up with a silver he's not happy with and that DL final.

There's rumour of a fast HM attempt in Copenhagen tomorrow, with ingibritsen starting. We'll see.

There's a fast HM is happening as Kiplimo the WR holder will be running. Ingebrigtsen has just been officially confirmed as running. We'll see whether he goes with the pace.

There's supposed to be a stream of this for free via WA tomorrow.

DAS interview after the race, talks about her season: x.com

Think even in the Olympics it seemed clear that the new regime has made some changes. It will be interesting to see how that goes in the second year when things are less new.

Son is in Copenhagen (not running), tipped him off earlier in the week about the race. I'd expected sub 61 at least out of JI, and a sub 60 wouldn't surprise me. But a win? Not sure about that.

I have just spotted that Sydney Marathon takes place tomorrow - but it's on Discovery Channel tonight at 2030.

That whole time difference thing can blow your mind at times like this!
