Interesting.
What that Phinergy video conveniently omits to mention, and you only find when you read the Bloomberg article, is that the batteries can't be re-charged by the consumer, they have to be swapped out and the discharged one sent for "re-cycling".
It's says it only takes 3 minutes to swap the battery for a "new" one, so would be quicker than filling up with petrol, if there was a suitable range of stocked swap-over points.
Would certainly reduce the concern that many have about battery degradation where at the the moment you own the battery - here I guess you never really own a specific battery.
