Bump :-)

We're looking at being at Edinburgh parkrun this Saturday. Can anyone tell me what the course is like, and would anyone like to come say hello? :-)

Flat wide tarmac sea front promenade. Almost entirely flat, can be very fast, but very exposed to the weather (although given that its a long lollipop shape, pretty much guarantees a tail wind for half of the course...).

A Fetch visit to Scotland :-). Might pop along - unless it's foul weather, then you can have it ;-). If you can feel the tailwind at Cramond, you are in real trouble, its probably over 40 mph.

Afterwards, you can (if the tides are favourable) walk to an island, alongside some giant sharks teeth. If you are driving to the event, the main car park ( a few minutes jog to the start) can become chaotically busy.

Here's a pic, taken from a spot about not that far into the run (you would be running towards the camera). Are you touristing? (In the general, rather than parkrun, sense.)
