I had a dream last night that a new Edinburgh parkrun started up closer to Leith. It was called 'parkscone' and everyone ate scones afterwards. I think this should happen.

Too much happens in the meadows each year. What with Bangkok lady boys, the shows, and lots of big haired rugger chaps there is no room for a parkrun. Leith links on the other hand. Dodge the dog shot and Buckie bottles and you have a parkrun!! Would need to run 3000 laps of either side of the links but what more do you want!!!
There is Calvary park of course, or maybe portobello esplanade and prom, but the latter would be very, very dull.
