They often have events on that'd mean no parkrun that week (eg. Meadows, and was the same with Glasgow Green). Holyrood I gather wouldn't have been an easy course, and roads would be problematic. The folk involved consulted a lot of folk about the remaining options, and I gather Cramond was the favourite.

Flat, traffic free, tarmac roads and has less reliance on a large number of volunteers to stage it. That's not to say it doesn't need YOU to volunteer, the more the merrier. So sign up folks for racing and volunteering.
