Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

I'll certainly be up for a few pints but not really thought about where would be easiest or best. Not sure if folk would rather drink near the finish or go into Edinburgh?

Got to love the good ol boys that organise EMF :-)
Not yet got my number, but not reached any panic yet, however thought I may have a quick scan of the final instructions and come across this gem!!

High5 EnergyGel (with / without caffeine) will be on

course at Energy Station 6 (16.2 miles), Energy Station 8 (21.75 miles)

and Energy Station 9 (24.25 miles)

It’s essential you practice using gels during

training runs so you can benefit from them on

race day.

I can only assume they hope to God you have a brain and therefore they will only need to supply about 10 gels at these completely useless stages of the race (OK the first one is fine, but not if it is the first gel you are going to consume, the other two should see you alright after the race for the walk to the bus)

My thoughts too Joe.
Is there only one start, on London Road this year?
