Sharing an article I found interesting. Take away was how, when we consider the growth of economies over last decade or so, a 1% growth rate in NL today is same growth in income per capita as 3% a decade ago. #33 A Look at Outlooks linkedin.com |

I don't understand that even as a concept YC! How can 1% be equivalent to 3%?! Will read with interest and hope I can get my brain round it! G

It said 3% decades ago, 3% of something considerably smaller is the same as 1% now. 3% of 100 is 3 1% of 300 is 3 Simple Arithmetic. You do need to know the actual sizes of the economy to check if this person is talking bollocks though. |
