Hoping the bluebells will still be looking good in Rannerdale in a week or so… Plenty in the wooded edges of Knebworth coming up the A1 this afternoon
Don’t think I’ve newted anything today.

Mrs Jigs (Luverlylegs)
Visited Ian & Katie this morning, very long time since we last did that, definitely pre 2020.

That's lovely Mrs Jigs. No bluebells here yet, but we did spend the afternoon in the garden- playing boules and other games with my nephews. Definitely first time this year and probably first time ever as they were a bit too young pre-covid to want to do much other than bounce on the trampoline and run around madly.

I saw bluebells today. I also tried something new off the menu at a restaurant and it was lovely

Got a magic bag from Starbucks via Too Good to Go, £4 for 2 paninis and a couple of brownies. Not tried it before as rarely worth driving into town just to collect but timings worked out today.
Also saw bluebells today, and dropped boy1 to watch a local wrestling show, not my cuppa but he had a great evening.

I am choosing Mrs Jigs for today's newt - in fact for two of her recent newts - partly for visiting The Everyones (or are they the Fetches I'm never quite sure when it's both of them ) but first and foremost for her community spirit in dragging the shopping trolley out of the undergrowth at half past six in the morning (although I'm still intrigued as to what she then did with it once 'recscued')

Mrs Jigs - another perfect Easter choice. Am likewise on the What Happened Next.
And Baroness, I love 'The Everyones'

Indeed BBL, I'd like to know too
At my sister's for Easter, which is a Covid Newt as I have not been allowed home for Easter and Christmas since 2019
Yesterday I went to a Newt bookshop and bought some Newt Dutch literature and got a Newt Book Week book. I used to collect those and just recently they emerged from one of my boxes and are Newtly on my shelves, so it delights me to be able to add a Newt one to my collection after many years.

Housewifely newt from me today. I've worked out how to operate the floor wiping gadget my parents gave us last autumn. Their cleaner sourced it for them to make it easier for Dad to wipe the kitchen floor, but he declared it inferior to his trusty mop and bucket. I'm not sure that my floor is any cleaner, but the disposable damp cloth thing got impressively dirty and the kitchen smells as if it's been cleaned.

That works for me vrap!
My NEWT today was to deliberately go as slow and steady as I could and use the lowest gears on my bike do as to get a short ride in with minimal impact
