Wanda and I have been perusing the newts for today. Wanda likes all the ones concerning dogs but I am more open minded ;-) We've decided to sleep on it and announce newt of the day in the morning in case there are any late nominations.

I have just completed a little newt. A set of 10 press ups. I've been doing sets of 5, but just did 10 without a break. First time I've done that many in ages.

My granny loved skate. I haven't had it in years. I actually quite liked it as a kid.

I like skate!

Loving the tortoise newt.

SweetPea and I took our dog Nell to kennels* today as we're off on holiday tomorrow. She usually travels in a crate in the boot if Mr WA's car (Nell, not SweetPea). I only had my mini today, so Nell sat on SweetPea 's knee with her (Nell' s) head lolling out if the window. That's a newt for all 3 of us! We'll do it again, it was fab!

Nah, no proper newts from me today. I'll have one by 10am tomorrow if everything goes to plan.

Having studied all yesterday's newts it's been a very hard choice to pick the winner. As it was Chinese New Year and Year of the Dog it was very tempting to pick another dog one... but no.....yesterday's Newt of the Day

is Little Nemo... for Hester the rescue cat's first trip into the garden and mastering of the cat flap :-)

I'm quite excited about my newt for today. It's going to be a proper 'first' and an usually cultural activity for me too.......
