Much as I complain (pretty much continually ) that I am the ONLY PERSON IN THE WORLD who still has to physically go to work and doesn’t get to stay in my pyjamas all day/ spend more time with my dog/ practice yoga in what would have been my commuting time, at least I get to see other people. Loads of other people, in fact. I’m quite lucky really I s’pose.
Listened to another ‘learn French’ podcast. Apparently the number of women in France murdered by an intimate partner was down last year by about 60 compared to the year before. So, er, well done France?? (Still sounds like an awful lot...)

GM my last fridge was purchased due to old fridge dying in fact I haven't had any new "white goods" for ages so I can totally get the excitement and love the idea of a BBQ fridge!
HK I will endeavour to savour
Just done my "break yoga" with a mini newt - I had previously put a calendar note in work calendar to take breaks but it wasn't working so last night I set up a Google calendar reminder and it just popped up on my watch! This is much more IN MY FACE so I can't ignore it and I therefore actually took my break for the 1st time this week

That's a good idea, EP. Good timing indeed. We've had to replace all of our main appliances in the last 2 years - oven, microwave, fridge, freezer, washing machine and dishwasher. I'm expecting the Dyson to die before long. The steam iron is ok, but that's because we don't use it

A lifetime newt for me today. I washed my mother's hair. It was a bit like washing the children's hair without the nit comb bit.
Now going to deal with my first Scottish Fetchpoint bug 🐞 Mum has already sucked her teeth and gone, "Dae ye no think yur a wee bit obsessive?"

I had banana with my Weetabix and honey. I like Weetabix and I like banana, but I don’t like them together.

I wasn't able to do the Jolly Brave thing (it was running the 5k mob match thing on the track) because the venue was being used for children's cycling. Never mind, I'll save that newt for another day. Today's newt is some new trainers - that counts, right? They've just been delivered
