Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Not the best newt for me today, my motorbike was booked in for its first service, gone to the garage to get it out and ride it up and it won’t start or go into gear, got to wait for mr jelly to take a look tonight!

oh no jelly! Hope its just in hibernation mode.

The only difference in my life will be having my parents round for a BBQ/pizza in the garden. I may stop at my cousins for a glass of fizz on my walk at the weekend but that will be a driveway stop as her garden is being landscaped.

One of my friends that live part here part in the States is back for a couple of months... His wife has stayed Stateside, because her dad has dementia and she was stuck here for 9 months last year not being allowed to travel while her dad kept asking for her... Good to see him and perfect timing...
With my family in the Netherlands with even stricter rules, I am firmly stuck here on my own, but now 2 friends that live partly abroad are here, which is nice.

About This Thread

starblackheartstar The sixth running of Do a New Thing for Spring starblackheartstar

Lent has a special and specific meaning to Christians but has become an secular season of denial and hair shirting that serves no positve purpose. No chocolate, no booze, no -er - other stuff.

Why not treat the build up to Easter - as a chance to celebrate and embrace NEW THINGS - that's what spring is about after all.

The first few pages of the thread give more ideas.
