Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

My newt for the day was volunteering in a vaccination centre. Not big on volunteering stuff really but thought I ought to make the effort for this.

Think we did about 360 jabs, it was the first day and we were not stretched at least in my task. I think they wanted to make sure it would go smoothly.

Yes that's a goodie jda.
Love the campervan too. And all the violets and birdsong.

Quiet couple of days here. The sunshine is lovely though isn't it? I didn't need my fleece today for work.

I went for a walk with a friend today, we saw this little lamb all on its own, the other lambs and sheep were further over the field, it didn’t move but just looked up and even let me stroke its head, this is a newt for me, I don’t usually get to stroke lambs, I hope it’s snuggled up with its mum tonight.

I've been a Garmin user for like forever!
Just created my first segment and it earned me a Garmin badge!
If it shows as you use it then I will set up more!

My newt today isn't quite a 'first time ever' but it's something I've not done in a very long time and probably not as often as would be advisable.

I'm cleaning the oven.

I can now see why people who do this for a living are so expensive! I'm also relieved that moving house is not a very frequent occurrence - not that I'd want you all to think I haven't cleaned the oven since we've lived here, but perhaps not as frequently or as well as would have made the job considerably easier than it is today :-)

About This Thread

Maintained by Sharkie
starblackheartstar The sixth running of Do a New Thing for Spring starblackheartstar

Lent has a special and specific meaning to Christians but has become an secular season of denial and hair shirting that serves no positve purpose. No chocolate, no booze, no -er - other stuff.

Why not treat the build up to Easter - as a chance to celebrate and embrace NEW THINGS - that's what spring is about after all.

The first few pages of the thread give more ideas.
