Not big on volunteering stuff really but thought I ought to make the effort for this. Think we did about 360 jabs, it was the first day and we were not stretched at least in my task. I think they wanted to make sure it would go smoothly.

I'm cleaning the oven. I can now see why people who do this for a living are so expensive! I'm also relieved that moving house is not a very frequent occurrence - not that I'd want you all to think I haven't cleaned the oven since we've lived here, but perhaps not as frequently or as well as would have made the job considerably easier than it is today

The sixth running of Do a New Thing for Spring

Lent has a special and specific meaning to Christians but has become an secular season of denial and hair shirting that serves no positve purpose. No chocolate, no booze, no -er - other stuff.

Why not treat the build up to Easter - as a chance to celebrate and embrace NEW THINGS - that's what spring is about after all.
