HK it made me think of your book - I have been sipping me tea slowly (pinky out of course) and really savouring the chai tea within

My newt today is posting on the knitting and crocheting thread for the first time ever. I'd like to take up crocheting.

Ness
Today, I dragged Mr Ness out for a walk to Aldi with me. He was reluctant because it was forecast to rain. But there was no rain and he enjoyed getting out. ![]() This afternoon I am going to have an afternoon nap. 💤 Not very exciting newts but good for my well-being, I think. |

The Jennis Fitness Challenge2 Day 14 UltraAbs was a circuit I haven't done before. Was not knackering in spite of speed so perhaps the Creatine (new) is worikng already (ha ha it WON'T be). Bought a new cookery book at Sains. Did a new walk to Clissold Park in Stokie rather than my usual trot round Hackney Downs. Location of 6 mile run in my distant distance running days but haven't been up there for ages. Nice to see the swans and moorhens in the lakes. Very busy too (in a good way) with walkers, children, families, runners, friends, allsorts. |

After Iceland delivered our shopping, I tried one of these for the first time. If yo like Black Jacks you might like these. I'll be getting more. iceland.co.uk |

OMG there's another newt for me to add to my list of prospective newts along with tea that tastes of Toast and Jam or biscuits..... I'll be able to manage a food related newt every day at this rate and will need to give something up post Lent as a result ![]() |

Ha ha. I had tea bags with malted milk flavouring last year. I quite enjoyed them on the days when I really fancied a biscuit but didn't have any. |

I used to love Black Jacks! Have just cooked a new recipe - chickpea curry. K says it’s good. I still can’t smell or taste since Covid in December. I hope it comes back soon. |
