But there was no rain and he enjoyed getting out. This afternoon I am going to have an afternoon nap. 💤 Not very exciting newts but good for my well-being, I think.

Was not knackering in spite of speed so perhaps the Creatine (new) is worikng already (ha ha it WON'T be). Bought a new cookery book at Sains. Did a new walk to Clissold Park in Stokie rather than my usual trot round Hackney Downs. Location of 6 mile run in my distant distance running days but haven't been up there for ages. Nice to see the swans and moorhens in the lakes. Very busy too (in a good way) with walkers, children, families, runners, friends, allsorts.

The sixth running of Do a New Thing for Spring

Lent has a special and specific meaning to Christians but has become an secular season of denial and hair shirting that serves no positve purpose. No chocolate, no booze, no -er - other stuff.

Why not treat the build up to Easter - as a chance to celebrate and embrace NEW THINGS - that's what spring is about after all.
