I’ve just had a few sips of water instead of a cup of tea, paused and gone “mmmm” while thinking of half pint :-)
Here’s my newt light in action

Sharks it had a similar effect on K - bloody squat thrusts at the end, I nearly died!

Thanks, Mazlin :-)

When we’re back inside the gym I might ask for pull ups, just for a dose of masochism.

I'm on a roll for newts today. I placed a 'reverse forecast' bet on the Cheltenham Festival where you have to select the first and second horse in any order. Never placed that sort of bet before but I had a 'free' bet so I thought I'd try my luck.

The two horses came in 1st & 2nd and I won £27! Not bad for no outlay at all!

Oooh congratulations, BBL!

My newt for today is cooking salmon a different way to how I usually cook it - pan fried the skin and then finish off in the oven. I’ll do it that way again - loved the crispy skin and soft flesh :-)

About This Thread

starblackheartstar The sixth running of Do a New Thing for Spring starblackheartstar

Lent has a special and specific meaning to Christians but has become an secular season of denial and hair shirting that serves no positve purpose. No chocolate, no booze, no -er - other stuff.

Why not treat the build up to Easter - as a chance to celebrate and embrace NEW THINGS - that's what spring is about after all.

The first few pages of the thread give more ideas.
