Apparently today is March Forth and Do Something Day - a day that encourages people to do something new that enriches their own lives or the lives of people in their community.

I immediately thought of this thread!

Once I have drunk my tea I am going to put some bread rolls in the slow cooker
then I can have a roll with soup post turbo for lunch

Never done rolls in the slow cooker before (90mins high apparently) but did a few loafs many moons ago. They worked but the tin didn't as the bread engulfed it so hopefully rolls will work. Should make one of those tear-n-share style of things

I've never tried making rolls in a slow cooker - will look forward to hearing an update on them.

About This Thread

Maintained by Sharkie
starblackheartstar The sixth running of Do a New Thing for Spring starblackheartstar

Lent has a special and specific meaning to Christians but has become an secular season of denial and hair shirting that serves no positve purpose. No chocolate, no booze, no -er - other stuff.

Why not treat the build up to Easter - as a chance to celebrate and embrace NEW THINGS - that's what spring is about after all.

The first few pages of the thread give more ideas.
