Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

My first newt of the day was to get a new (to me anyway) Fetch badge....

First time I've run this many miles in one month. 151 to be exact.

Not that interesting particularly but I'm pleased with it. Hopefully some more interesting newts later. :)

That's a lot of miles Ness. Congratulations!

There's a ghost sign in John Dalton Street Sharkie - I'll go and find it next week - it's a private post box sign down a little alleyway.

Well done Ness, great running, and well done GM, getting into clothes that were too small is a great feeling but hard work.

Amazing work Ness

Just discovered hyacinths coming up in the herb bed. No recollection of having put them in.

About to peg washing out for the first time this year.

Genuinely in awe of LGJ. And others who do similar feats of endurance.

My newt was a real outdoor bike ride! First time this year. Lovely to get some fresh air in the face and also rewarded with a bunch of strava PBs thanks to all the indoor cycling we’ve been doing over the winter. It’s good to know that has really had an effect.

starblackheartstar The sixth running of Do a New Thing for Spring starblackheartstar

Lent has a special and specific meaning to Christians but has become an secular season of denial and hair shirting that serves no positve purpose. No chocolate, no booze, no -er - other stuff.

Why not treat the build up to Easter - as a chance to celebrate and embrace NEW THINGS - that's what spring is about after all.

The first few pages of the thread give more ideas.
